I updtd to 2.1 and went from Panda Home back to stock so I could use live wallpapers but I've ran into a problem using Handcent Text Messaging. I use the pop-up text window, which I love, but when it pops up now it has the old wallpaper behind it that I was using on Panda and after a few text msgs, the live wallpaper will change back to the one I was using on Panda. FYI, Panda was uninstalled already. Anyone else have this problem?

Ya I had that problem. The only thing I found that fixes it is by not using the pop up option in handcent. I think it might be a bug on their part.

Maybe uninstall then reinstall Handcent? Yeah, you'll have to recustomize, but if it resolves the wonkiness then I say it's worth it.

That doesn't fix it. I don't what the issue is but it had to be in the the apps function when pop up is enabled. What could work is to disable pop up and get a diff app in the market that only makes the text pop up like handcent does and use that. I think that should fix your problem but I'm not positive because I never tried it. There should be a free app in the market so it couldn't hurt to try it. Let me know how it goes. Good luck.

Edit: I just checked the market. There are 2 free apps that you might want to try. The first is "SMS pop up" 334 kb, (go figure haha ) which does what your looking for. And the other is called "smswid" 53.82 kb , which is a widget that has the same function but it is a widget.

Ive never had pandahome on my phone but i have the same problem. Ive been using helixlauncher but i guess that isnt the cause. At least that should rule out pandahome for you. BTW i have a stock 2.1 moto droid.

I had the same problem. I end up just not using the live wallpaper. :-/

The updates didn't seem to fix it and it was a bit of an annoyance.
