handfree problem

hey can someone please help and tell me that why on earth handsfree doesnt work htc g2 i chnged my phone 3 times but same problem over and i can hear the other person but they cant hear me i trid all the best handsfree but none of them works pleasee help me thnxxx,....

Are you using wired Ear Phones or Bluetooth?

If wired, are you pushing the plug fully into the jack?
If Bluetooth, are you putting the Headset in pairing mode FIRST before trying to connect the first time?

I use both BT and wired headsets and have never had a problem with them at all, either stock rooted.
