hi all need help!
Running Google Maps when driving, S10 connected on BT to car. when i get call screen switches to call screen, then when call ended:
1. navigation goes into smaller picture in picture screen
2. if i maximize PIP, navigation is on portrait orientation so i need to tilt phone an click icon to rotate which is next to impossible on highway.

is there way to keep navigation running while in call in hands free AND not too loose screen orientation?

tnx for help

Are you using car mode while connected to the Bluetooth? I don't know if that would affect answering calls or opening the app but it might have or offer auto answering which may negate the need for the dialer to come up and then wouldn't need to minimize the navigation screen. You can set-up auto answer in the phone app but that's on all of the time.

The S10 also offers a rotation feature that I know affects the home screen and may also affect the dialer, because what's really happening is the dialer/phone app is forcing portrait and then when you return to navigation it is not forcing landscape even though it is in landscape. It is looking for that input of the device to be turned all over again but if the dialer/phone app never forces that perspective perhaps it will retain its orientation.

ahh, switched to android though it will be better then iphone :(
being softwrae developer id say its logical to bring back orientation to what ever it was or re-check it at least on hands free if phone was not moved lol some one crushes car Samsung had bug liability lol

anyway, will try Car mode see what happens there....

for that orientation feature? how to activate it? it was some what my next question, when i lunch Waze i never was able to flip to to landscape and unlike google map that rotation icon does not show up

tnx alot for help!
also fount i was in portrait mode so maybe it was causing issue. will try to drive around and see what happens
