Just tried them both at best buy. I initially wanted the edge but after playing with them for a little while I changed my mind. The edge is just to uncomfortable to hold. There is an angular edge down both sides which is somewhat sharp. The bigger issue is the buttons. The buttons stick out pretty far and are sharp. I did not like running my fingers or my hand across them. The screen on the edge looks nice for about 90% of the content I viewed. The discoloration is noticeable on lighter and monotone images along the edge. Under the store lighting there is an annoying glare on the curve of the edge distracting and sometimes at extreme angles obliterating whatever is on the display.
The edge does look better than the regular s6 naked. The regular s6 is clean but has no wow factor like the edge. I can not envision a case for the s6 edge that is going to be able to protect it and keep it good looking. Both phones feel solid.
I ended up pre ordering a regular s6 64gb in black. This is a big step for me as I'm a huge HTC fan.
