Handwriting function missing

Hi all,

My handwriting function is missing on my Samsung keyboard. I don't see it when I hold down the magic button next to Symbol. Is this a bug? I used to have it in earlier Samsung phones. Please help!

Yes, I'm positive. I just bought the phone and haven't got around to customize it. This was the first function I noticed missing.

Another update: if I whip out the S Pen, the handwriting function works. But I cannot write without the pen.

Interesting. Mine has it. Which app are you using? Maybe that's it? I checked in a reply on this forum.

You can also download "Google Handwriting Input" from the Google Play Store...

I know it doesn't solve your posted issue...but it is a good backup input method to have...

Hi all,

Thanks for all your help! I contacted Samsung and looks like the magic T was kept because I had Power Saving Mode switched on. If you go to Setting and have that switched off, everything should work fine now. Hope this would help others who may experience the same problem in future. O
