But they're really not. They're just in an additional place. SMS app still has all my messages and I can initiate and reply from there as well.

It's so much better than the stock SMS!

I read the mini writeup in post #16 and decided to send it back to Disabled status. Please let the rest of us know why it's better than the stock Messaging app, and where the reviewer in post #16 is in error.

You can change the bubble type and colors, and the background to a lighter background.

So I'm not sure how it's "too dark."

Hangouts functionality is too limited, and it doesn't have icon badges, which is a showstopper for me.

There is no option to change the conversation list is there? No, there isn't. The stock is black. Black is considered dark, no?
