Same here. I use both Hangouts & SMS, don't want to have open 2 separate apps.

Any way to change the colour of the text bubbles? I like the way iMessage is setup. Since i moved from apple, its a bad habit that i got used to

I use the stock message app on my S5. I'm with AT&T and use AT&T Messages. Works fine for me. I don't text heavily though.

I use hangouts. It's cleaner than the stock sms client and I can also use it on my ios devices.

I use the stock, because you can view the text and put the phone to your ear and it automatically calls that person..hang out doesn't. ..

Just tried Hangouts as an experiment and I like it. Going to use it for a bit and put the AT&T Messages to sleep for a while.

Hangouts for everything. I don't want my display turning on with each text I receive so stock wasn't an option. Even if it didn't turn the display on I'd probably use Hangouts.

I use hangouts-it integrates everything better for me. Many contacts I don't have phone #s to, but can get them through the Hangouts app.

I use stock. I never even looked at Hangouts. I disabled it as bloatware, never even giving it a chance. I'll have to check it out later and see if I like it.

I just tried out Hangouts. Back to stock for me. I don't like it. It's too boring for me. I like how you can customize the background and bubbles on the stock MMS app. Also, I didn't see an option for scheduled text messaging in Hangouts. The only thing I think is cool about Hangouts is the ability to send a text from your computer but that is just a feature I never use. Back to the disabled bloatware list it goes.

I've been playing with Hangout also and find one annoying issue. I sent an embedded picture with my message and later when I went back to look at the message again it tells me it cannot display the embedded picture. Is it Hangouts or me ... what's wrong?
