hangouts with 2 gmail accounts.

So I use hangouts for my SMS but I recently added a second gmail account for school. Now when I go to send a text it was asking me which email. I disabled the second one and every time I go to send a text it still pops up asking me which one. Is there any way to fix that or am I stuck with that box popping up every time? I looked through the settings and I did not see anything. Am I missing something?
