Today marks the 3rd birthday of the Samsung Galaxy S5 which was launched on the 11th April 2014.

One of the few remaining good phones that are not horribly old. So far, I haven't seen a single good smartphone since 2015 other than the prohibitively expensive LG V20.

Very cool ironass!! Yes sir......bought my S5 in May of 2014. Great phone and mine is still going strong!!! It's like the energizer bunny.....it keeps going....and going....and going.......

My tablet (A Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1) is four years old as of some day this week. It still works like new. The S5 is what phones should be like. I don't want to sound like Trump, but someone should make smartphones great again.

I have to say, that the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S5 are, currently, my 2 favourite smartphones. The S5, IMHO, is when Samsung got the smartphone right... after that, the S6 took a step backwards as did the S7 which was no big deals for me. As for the S8... as we say in my part of the world.... "Same meat, different gravy".

Have a look at the OnePlus 3T. Half the cost of the Galaxy S7 and on Android Nougat, 7.1.1. If I was Samsung, I would be looking at it and wondering.

No SD slot, no removeable battery, therefore crappy. This is exactly why all of the recent smartphones are crap that I won't buy.

Bought mine as a refurb last summer for 129 dollars. Sold my s3 for 100. Best 29 dollar upgrade ever! Awesome phone.
