The G4 has made a pretty good impression on these guys:
LG G4, two months on | Android Central

We naturally hear from owners here in the forum who are having problems with their devices, but I wonder how many of us are in fact highly satisfied with the G4 several weeks in? We're not so likely to post and say 'No problems with mine' but for the sake of balance it might be worth it if the satisfied owners give the device a thumbs-up. I like pretty much everything about mine....speed, display quality, camera quality, size and handling, battery life, call quality....in fact I can't think of anything I dislike enough to be worth mentioning. To me it's a superb device.
Give it a positive vote if your experience has been good☺....while of course we all remain mindful of the problems with device, OS and carrier that some users are having😢.

Its been a superb device for me as well! It has and does everything I want and throw at it. The perfect device for me in 2015! ☺

I love my G4. In still trying to figure a few things out and how to maximize this device. It's a solid phone and I would recommend it to anyone.

I feel it's the best Android phone of 2015.

I'd personally like to see the same thing in a 5 or 5.2 max screen size to be perfect hardware wise and to tone down the customization down a bit to be perfect software wise but they just nailed everything else.

I got mine this past Saturday, after using the GS4 for the past two years. So far, pretty pleased with it. Though its larger size does take a bit of getting used to (5" screen remains my ideal). The performance of everything is top-notch. I love they kept several features that attracted me to Android phones in the first place, namely the removable battery, microSD slot, and inherent customization. Everything on this is a vast improvement. One glaring problem with my GS4, was the call quality. This is not the case on the G4. It's crisp and clear.

In fact, right now the only way to improve my mobile device experience, would be if I had an unlimited data plan with VzW (I was with the Deathstar and the iphone until Q3 2011)...

After stints with the Galaxy Note 4, Droid Turbo, & Galaxy S6, I'm settling in with the G4. Quite happy with it so far.

I see quite a few posts from Verizon customers with overheating & battery issues, neither of which I've experienced. The usual actions recommended for fixing those kind of problems (factory reset, checking for rogue apps, etc.) aren't helping for the most part, & there doesn't seem to be anything special about my setup that I can recommend to help them.

Only bringing those observations up because I really, really wish those folks could all be having the same experience with their G4 that I am with mine. It's just been really good at everything.

It is a tad worrying that device forums may give a false negative impression. I've been deterred from buying devices myself because of them. On the other hand that's exactly where you'd expect to hear about the problems that some users have.

I just got a Verizon variant a couple days ago, and I'm definitely pleased. I'm coming from the Sony Z3v, which literally felt like a delicate brick. I do wish that of all the missing features in Verizon that I still had theme support and hopefully they'll at least be a class action lawsuit for the omission of the 100 GB Google Drive offer, but those are relatively small quibbles.

I switched back to my gold s6 edge today and I'm probably going back to my G4 tomorrow. I don't need both so i was deciding what to sell, and I made up my mind to stick with the G4. I haven't had an android phone that runs as smooth as the G4. The display is amazing, I prefer it over the s6. I get over 8hours SOT with the G4. First phone I bought knowing I'll be happy with it for awhile.

I love mine! Looks awesome, I have had at least a half of dozen people say, "that's a cool or nice case". and they are shocked when I say it's not a case that's the phone. It feels great in my hand, perfect size for me about the biggest I could go and still be comfortable in my pocket. The camera is amazing and fun to play with the different settings. My last phone had wireless charging which I loved. This phone I just swap the battery so my phone is seldom plugged in. I'm still getting used to Android since I've only been back for a few weeks.

Is it perfect? No but I do not expect a phone to be perfect yet. I appreciate all the people on here who are happy to share their knowledge for things that I and others can't figure out.

I've just been editing some photos on mine....time and again I was struck by their amazing sharpness, even after cropping.

Also, I've just picked up my Nexus 5 to post this....it made me aware straight away of the G4 display's cleaner whites and richer colours.

I have a feeling that just like last year when I got the G3, I'll be skipping every other flagship that comes out this year and waiting anxiously for the G5.

Great phone, everything the successor of the G3 should be.
Some say that the "upgrades" are not significant enough which I find pretty funny considering it does just about everything better than what's out there.

Have had mine for about 3 weeks now and have had no issues at all. The phone is very fast and takes phenomenal pictures. There is room for improvement in the UI, but it is not bad at all. I usually install Action launcher and Swiftkey, but have actually been happy with stock for now.

I would say I'm happy with mine (815 model).
I haven't had any issues ,hasn't over heated,locked up , rebooted, etc.
I don't take a bunch of pictures but what I have the pictures have been great.
Also since mine is the global model no carrier bloat, its the only LG smartphone I have used
Edit:
Also like the fact I don't have any disabled features that came on the phone.

Often good news is no news

Just got mine on Sunday, T-mobile version. I love it, especially the subtle curve the display has. The leather back, while still feels a little plasticky to me, looks great. If they used metal on the sides...

Does anyone here experience lag on Chrome? I experience mad lag, in scrolling and clicking links. Any more than 3 tabs open whole phone becomes unusable, and will require battery pull.

Same here with Chrome, which I've since disabled and using Mercury Browser. No more lag :) Welcome to the club, I also have T-Mo H-811.
