Hi all,

Does anyone know if its possible to control music using the hardware buttons and/or dial on the galaxy watch?

On my pebble watches, when playing music on my phone, I can control volume /skipping tracks etc using the hardware buttons on the pebble, using an app called Music Boss (I think you can do with stock app too) and wondered whether there's anything similar on the galaxy watch.

I'd use in bed while going to sleep, so would like to skip tracks without looking at my watch etc

Cheers

Hi,

For skipping tracks using the bezel, make sure that the "last app" option in the Display menu is set to say 1 hr, not the default 20 secs.
Otherwise, when your screen has been deactivated for 20 secs, turning the bezel will show the next screen, and will not skip tracks.

Open the music player on your watch.
Press the "Open app" button on you watch screen.

After that you can use the bezel to skip tracks.
You may need to turn the bezel one click to activate the screen first, the next click will play the next track.
Volume control with hardware buttons is as far as I know not possible by default.
