Hardware Failure!?!?

I thinks i have hardware failure on my lg g2. It doesnt turn on and gets very hot when trying to charge. What is hardware failure, how can i tell if i have it and can it be fixed?

It's probably a hardware failure. The only way to tell is to bring it to a repair shop and let them open it up, check it out and tell you what it's going to cost.
