What do you mean by froze stuff?

I froze a bunch of bloaty apps (those listed as safe to do so) using titanium backup. However I have no data connection now and really don't know what to do. See thread I just made.

I'm using the same SD card with the backups on it but for some reason it's not reading anything in that folder on the Bionic.

Titanium backup is looking in the wrong area, what used to be know as /sdcard is now known as /sdcard-ext, this is new with the Bionic (at least compared to Droid and Droid X), you need to set the new path in Titanium Backup.

Sorry, but continuing to do this is how we tell Verizon that it's not ok to charge us twice for data we've already paid for. If you just do nothing, nothing will change.

I know what you are trying to say, but vzw and other companies do not see it that way. They know who tethers but I don't believe they are taking action yet. But rest assured, they will. People who take the possiblity of money away from them will be dealt with sooner or later. I am in the same boat as you grey, I don't think it's right to be charged for something the phone is capable of doing out of the box. But that is how business is ran. Maybe they have not acted since they are setting up 4g and 3g is being replaced, but if the abuse runs rampant I am sure they will act. They have already begun throttling the 3g, so we can only guess what the next logical step may be. Att has already sent out cease and desist messages to people, who is to say vzw isn't next?
