It amazes me how many people think all smartphones are iphones. Quite scary reallyJust now happened. I was using Tap and Pay at my local pharmacy.
The clerk went "WOW ... Is that an iPhone 6!!"
I said "No. It won't work that well if it was!"

EDIT: It was a Rite-Aid store so tap and pay still working for Android.
How do you setup tap and pay on the Note4?
Get Google Wallet and set it upIt will usually say "setup tap and pay" once you open the app. -- https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ogle.android.apps.walletnfcrel&token=VDIDVYEJ
For this, you need to have NFC on correct?
Yes.
I've yet to get it to work. It's hard to find somewhere to test it out where I won't have to be embarrassed in front of a long line while I try to figure out how it works.
In my opinion if someone mistakes your note 4 for an iPhone it's because they aren't into phone tech, they know Apple just released a larger iPhone, and probably just assumes that's what it is.
I've seen a few people at the gym with m8's and at first glance thought it was an iPhone.
