And you're on liquid currently? I always experience some lag with custom keyboards. If you're on Swype (which maybe you are?) then the lag could be through that. Also remember that with roms, kernels, undervolting, etc., you might be on a very conservative powerband and thus any intense, spontaneous need for power might make you freeze up temporarily.
What version of Liquid are you running and did you flash and use the V6 Supercharger?
I'm currently on A CM9 build which has only ever had it happened once whne adjusting the launcher settings.
I tried liquid but it happened to much it was unusable. No v6 supercharger nothing. It also happens a lot on AXIOM which upsets me because thats my favorite rom.
Interesting. AXI0M has little lag for me, but when there is lag, it's from Nova launcher and the transitions. It could just be the launcher doing too much at any given time?
It's not that it lags though, it's an actual lack of touchscreen responsiveness. Like it doesnt register me touching the screen at all.
Hmm. I remember there being a setting for that in either the main settings or one of the roms. Let me root around (pun intended).
At best, it might just need a good cleaning. At worst, the responsiveness maybe a HW issue.
i thought that was just for when a mouse was connected to the phone. In settings go to language and input then pointer speed. Try playing around with that. It might help it might not.

OP, i think it may be a hardware issue since you are having the problem across multiple ROMs and i am assuming through multiple "factory resets"
Could be. I've never fooled with it myself, but it's the only setting I see that has anything to do with using the screen like that.

I don't know if you've tried changing kernels as well - that could be your problem.

have you done a factory reset though (assuming you have since you said you have the issue on different ROMs)I've done a full sdard wipe with CMPLX6 Cleaner full before and it persisted. But if it was HW related would it really go away by simply turning the screen off and then back on? :\ ugh.
