Has anyone else noticed this?

I just received my Galaxy Watch today and thought there was a blemish/mark on the screen. On close inspection it looks like a sensor. Has anyone else noticed this? I've previously owned a Gear S3 and not noticed this before unless I missed it.

Where exactly - can you supply a photo?

I'll see if i can post a picture up but with the screen off it looks like a tiny square lower middle part of the screen.

Same thing here. Only notice it at the right angle. I was about to post the same thing. Happy to hear it's not a bad screen or something. Attached a pic of mine.

No. I would think everyone here has the same sensor. I never noticed it until I turned off AOS and tilted my watch in my kitchen where I have 6 super bright LED bulbs and turned my wrist just a little. If you draw a straight line from the 40 to 20 mark it's in the middle. Only on a angle can I really see it.

It's the ambient light sensor. The S3 had it too although it did seem less noticeable.

Thanks for the photo. Anybody have any idea when they are coming out with a black one?

:) Are you kidding, guys? This is ambient light sensor (behind the screen, right in the middle of the screen). It was there on Galaxy Sport, S3 and S2.

I thought so but wanted to be sure on my end since mine was an open box. Especially since someone else brought it up
