Android Central Question
I have an issue with what is now my second (replacement) Asus Zenpad and the memory card fitted in it. I had a 64gb Sandisc memory card fitted in my first Zenpad, for transferring/storing photos. Initially it worked fine but then images transferred from the internal memory to the SD card start to go currupt. Even if the tablet says there's a file there, it can't be opened as the file is "broken". This is just the start. Having left the tablet in an apparently working order the night before, on checking next morning the SD card has, overnight, become "Unsupported" and needs formatting. When trying to format the card, it tries for a while then fails. By putting the SD card in my old Samsung Tab, it formats fine and then works again in the Zenpad until, after a few days, the same problem arises. I did send the Zenpad into Asus but they found no issues, and yet the same problems kept happening.
In desperation, armed with screen shots of the problems, I took the Zenpad back to Currys/PCworld. They agreed to change the Tablet (good old Currys) so I came home with a nice new, fully working Zenpad, which I have now had for two weeks. Unfortunately over the last couple of days, the same problems have started to occur again, corrupt images and then the SD card becoming unsupported, which again went back to the old Samsung tab to get it working again.
I really don't know what to do now as I am baffled as to why this issue keeps happening. Can any shed any light on this issue? Has anyone else had a similar problem? Fingers crossed someone can help.
