Has anyone had a "temperature too low" while charging warning?

I got this on my note 10+. Haven't been able to charge it since and googling shows it has been an issue for some samsung phones for several versions back. Warning says "temp too low, charging will resume when temperature increases". Others who have had the issue have sent their phone in for warranty only to get it back with the same problem. Only real fix is a new phone which obviously samsung fights to the death to avoid.
I will send it in to see what happens but since am off contract I am looking at switching carriers and getting an s20 plus, but may think twice if these phones are having the same issue.
Has this happened to anyone with any version of the s20? Unfortunately there is nothing by any other brand that is enticing right now. Not an apple fan at all, Huawei are nice hardware but without google a big NOPE, LG are just stagnant etc. etc. There's just nothing out there.

Thanks for any input.

Here's a recent thread about some Note 10 users with the same issue.

Thanks, I did a search first and did go through that thread. Also found others on other forums. I've already factory reset and nothing has changed. I get the warning and a strange alarm sound any time I try charge it. And sounds like it'll be a nightmare to try get it fixed under warranty but will try anyway. I wish there was something out there that interested me other than samsung. Doesn't help that I also have a galaxy watch I'm addicted to and a tab s6. Right now using my wife's old s7 just for texts and calls in the mean time.

Try Disable Sensors in developer option, then highlight the Sensor icon from the pull down.
Good luck

I think sometimes it's due to debris in the charge port -- make sure it's clean by using a can of compressed air to blow it out, or a computer vacuum.

If you enable developer options, you should find the icon circled.
