Has anyone had problems with the Gear update on your smartphone?

I seen the update come on my phone. I did the update and low and behold, my screen on my Samsung 7 edge blinked crazy for about 10 seconds, then it straightened up. I thought it was fine, until 2 hours later while playing a game it faded to a yellow screen then to a green starRyan screen. I couldn't get it to turn off/on. The phone then showed four different screens with the correct time. It stayed this way ( 1) day until I returned it to Verizon store. They immediately ordered me a new phone.
