Performance and strange behavior
Last year I switched to the Note Edge. Since the beginning, I have seen weird things happening and would like to see if you guys ever experience something similar
- Sometimes when trying to wake the phone, it does nothing. Do it again and screen blinks. On a 2nd or 3rd try, then it wakes up
- Every now and then, it is slow as hell. I'll unlock it and screen takes 2 or 3 seconds to come up. Sometimes it takes a second or 2 to be able to switch to another screen
- (post Lollipop) When streaming music to my car, after a brief interruption, it resumes on a faster pace for a while then goes back to normal pace (on TuneIn and Pandora)
- Battery fully charged. Unplug and use phone for 10 min of screen and batt drops 12%. After that (no screen and only 1 call), rate is pretty consistent: 12% in 3+ hs
Yes, I do have a lot of apps. Samsung's troubleshoot is to uninstall one by one to see if there's an offender (especially on slowness).
FWIW: It was even worse on KitKat.... but I can't say it's smooth. Sometimes I want to throw it at the wall........
