Has Anyone Received the Oreo Update Yet?

Good day,

The official Oreo rollout for the Nokia 8 started last week. Supposedly model numbers TA-1004 and TA-1012 are the first to get it.

Mine is a TA-1004 yet I'm still showing no update available.

Anybody get it yet for their Nokia 8?

I got it on Friday, 24-Nov-2017, model TA-1012.

I was on the Oreo Beta Programme - don't know it that makes any difference. So far looks pretty solid. Fixed the quiet ringer/notification volume issue I experienced in the beta.

The November security update came through a couple of days later.

Mine is the international unlocked version so there's no carrier tie to mine.

I did get the November security patch. But still no Oreo. I guess HMD is doing a staggered rollout as to not overwhelm their servers.

Not yet. Mine is TA-1004 Sim Free unlocked.

Something is up with the SIM free updates, for some reason we're not getting them due to the carrier we are on.

Only Vodafone has approved the initial update to date, best thing to do is order a free Voda SIM and pop it in to download the Oreo update.

A number of us have confirmed this on XDA, Reddit and the Nokia Community Forums. I'd written a blog post about it this week but Nokia Mobile are not responding the query.

I have the international unlocked dual-SIM version (TA-1052). I bought it in late December and the Oreo update was available as soon as I turned the phone on.

I'm sceptical about this being the explanation as updates generally roll out in waves based on IMEI number in the event that there are major issues, just look at the Galaxy S8, I got the update on my Nokia 8 the minute I switched it on OOTB and I'm on O2 with a SIM free TA-1012.
