I just removed mine. It was very easy to do - you get a fingernail under one of the corners and lift. If you use a magnifying glass you can see the edges of the screen protector. It's a somewhat firm/rigid plastic sheet that then peels off. I removed mine for two reasons:
It depends on how careful you are with your screen. Obviously in my case I have little to worry about re: scratches with an uncovered screen. I should mention that I carried my S7 in my front jeans pocket every day. The glass must be very resilient and if I understand correctly the glass on the S10 is even more resilent.

b) I used my S7 for 3 full years (with a case that kept the screen raised up off any flat surface when I laid it face down) with no screen protector and have no/zero/zilch scratches on my glass screen.
