Has anyone replaced the battery on their N5?

As everyone knows the battery life on the N5 has become dreadful. Most people are blaming Lollypop but I'm wondering if it might simply be that the battery is a year old and it's no longer able to hold a charge as well. Has anyone replaced their battery? If so how difficult was the procedure and did it improve the battery life?

Hope you bought a $12 battery and not that $50 one in the linked youtube vid It's likely the stock battery with a paper covering...

I have not found any, it would be hard to do without the battery being physically larger. Which would mean you would have to have a larger case back. Speaking of cases there are some cases that have batteries in them and they run in parallel with the phone battery.
