Has anyone switched from DALVIK to ART runtime system?

In the process now.....Android is upgrading and optimizing apps. I understand this will be the future Android set up and wanted to know if what I am doing is a good thing or a bad thing.

The results if this makes apps open quicker is up in the air. ART will substantially increase the size of your apps. It will also affect you getting future updates.

What do you mean about future updates? Why wouldn't I get future updates?

Ahhhh I see.....phone says its been modified or whatever and won't get updates. What update would the S5 be seeing anytime soon?

I'm switching back, message keeps popping up that optimizer has stopped working and stuff. I don't think it is ready.
