Has anyone tried using an LG G4 in the new View Master's Virtual Reality Viewer yet?

I just ordered a View Master VR Viewer for my son. He has an S5 phone, but I have an LG G4 and of course would want to use the viewer too.
I read in a review that a phone with side buttons works well.

I tried it out. Phone fits in there just fine and it looks nice, however, the selection button/lever didn't work properly on the one I got. The lever didn't reset all the way after pressing it, so it didn't work. I think I just got a faulty unit, but didn't try another one to verify that.

Worked fine on mine. It is a very tight fit, tighter then my lg flex, and you will need to remove any case from it. Unfortunately the amount of software out for google cardboard is still sucky. Not real active.
