Has anyone used the Turbo on T-Mobile in or around NYC?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying the phone from Verizon and then using it on T-Mobile. Has anyone here done that who lives around NYC? If so, how is your network connectivity with it? Thanks!

T Mobiles iPhone won't work on Verizon, I suspect the Turbo won't work on T Mobile.....but don't quote me on that!
