I have been having issues with charging cables. I was told by Samsung that it is dust in the charging port. I have cleaned mine lightly with a brush but still having issues. It is a constant issue I have not had in the past.

No, how is that done. I have a really small brush but not working.

Just spray a little bit of compressed air from the can into the USB port.

Saw these usb cleaning kits on amazon. Might be worth a try.

It could be the phone's usb port. That's what happened to mine. Thankfully it was still under warranty so the repair was covered. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up that afternoon.

What type of issues are you having? Is the phone not charging?

Yes tried that, nothing sadly. Issue persists. It happened a while ago too. Will need to go to local Samsung store for tech help.

The issue is that I have to fiddle with the charger before it finally works. Compressed air not working. Seems the mag charger is for iPhone. Guess I can only bring it in. This is making me contemplate going to iPhone next time...but have never had an iPhone before. Thanks all.
