Used Du Battery Saver combines with MM doze to see how the battery extension is? I remember using this app years ago and it worked well with my Optimus G. Just curious..

I think that currently battery saving apps don't do much for newer smartphones. Android has become much more efficient in the last couple of iterations. I would be hesitant to try as the battery saver app might interfere with doze.

I agree with that, just curious if anyone has any other opinions as I haven't really seen any scientific proof with doze... Just an interesting thought

With my experience on Marshmallow with the V10 so far, Doze only kicks in when the phone is sitting still for a certain amount of time, usually 15-20 minutes for me. If the phone knows it's moving around, Doze won't come on so battery drain will still be normal. Only real use I've found for Doze is when I forget to charge my phone and wake up after falling asleep to see it's only fallen 2-4% in that 8-hour window.

Same.. It doesn't budge in the middle of the night.. Doesn't really help me when I conduct a lot of business on my phone.

I tried that and found it did very little to help battery life. Maybe I was using it wrong or something. Only thing I found useful was that it restricts background apps from refreshing. Didn't really notice a jump in battery life though.
