Yes. I know that happens some times with phones. It happened a few times when I had my iPhone with every version . never happened with my HTC one though.

Might of been a fluke thing, if it continues could be a app causing it..

Had that happen with my S4 not yet...knock on wood with my Note 3.

Are you hitting the power button easily? I haven't had my Note 3 restart on its own, but my GS4 would restart because the power button was so easy to push. Since it would only happen when I moved, I assumed that something was pressing the power button to cause this to happen.

Not happened so far, using it since 27/Sep daily. Maybe your tight pocket hitting the side power button?

If this happened with your iPhones and all your other phones (the restarts) you may want to look at how tight your pants are or how the phone is sitting in your pocket.

Not being mean at all.. I'm serious. It sounds like you're causing the reboot somehow... It shouldn't just happen. I haven't had it happen with any of my phones. My iPhone 3g/3gS/4 then Galaxy s2 on Att, s2 on Sprint, s3 on Sprint, HTC One on Sprint, and now HTC One on T-Mobile have never just restarted on their own in my pocket.

My HTC Titan WP does this a lot. Not like every day, but enough to know when I feel it vibrate once in my pocket that its just restarted. Sometimes I am sure its because I am bending and the top power button is being held down, other times its sitting on my desk and it restarts.

Mine restarted on its own today for the first time, just laying on top of my desk.

I'm wondering if it had something to do with automatic store updates.

It's funny because the statement was silly. My clothing isn't going to make a phone restart especially if there is a lockscreen on.

The statement wasn't silly at all, actually... Tight clothing could potentially press on the power button, or thin fabrics could cause the lock screen to unlock from the movement of the phone in your pocket against your leg.

My Note 3 LTE sm-n9005 started restarting a week after I got it. It first happened when I tried to call someone and I cancelled the call and tried to play music it would reboot after 30 seconds. Now it just reboots at random times. Even if the phone is on it's own and not in my pocket. :)

Today in a few calls when people speak to me the sound is so distorted like the speaker is broken but when I plug the headphones in the sound becomes crystal clear, I take them out and the phones speaker is still distorted.

My phone lags and will suddenly freeze like it has crashed. This happens often where I can't click anything, even the screen on/off button, the only option you have is to wait for the phone to respond and if it doesn't respond it would usually reboot on it's own.

Even when I first had the phone and installed an app like PubTran I received an app not responding error. For such a high end phone with a high end price tag you don't expect to have problems. The phone is brand new and hasn't been dropped,

Wondering could sweat from the phone being in your pocket be enough to damage these phones. My Galaxy S2 broke 1 year and a half ago and they said it was water damage so I had to continue on contract for 1 year and a half. :(

Getting an exchange tomorrow, hopefully it won't happen with the new one, guess it's possible that it's a new phone and might need updated firmware but only over time if everyone else starts having similar problems.

Yes my Note 3 doing this all time ? don't know why... in average its restart by its own 3 time daily doesn't matter what I am doing using camera or viewing YouTube clip ?? do any one have a solution ?

Yes. Return it for service. That is not normal. My Note3 hasn't done that even once and most certainly not because of camera or youtube.

My Note 3 have not done it yet, but my old Galaxy Nexus did it from time to time. don't remember the source, but I was told that Samsung phones have a tendency to pull a reboot when a task manager is used a lot (which I did when I got lag). I've just gotten in the habit of just restarting my phone in the morning, haven't had a random reboot occurrence since.

Not even then. I use the task manager swapping daily with Knox and sometimes even from regular program to program, and Note3 is the first phone I have without any issues in that activity. And with issues I'm more referring to the restarting programs which were closed when memory ran out. Either I'm lucky or not heavy enough user, but Note3 hasn't restarted anything.
