Has Honor abandoned this phone?

So Honor announced they would produce updates every three months for (at least) two years following a phone's launch. The last update of any sort that I know of for the 5X was in July.
All of their focus appears to be on the 8 and newer. Sad to see them abandon a very good, inexpensive phone.

Yeah, I haven't gotten anything either (although I'm not using it on any carrier right now). I had to manually install the Marshmallow update myself, after waiting forever for an OTA that never arrived.

That's not good considering that i got the nougat update ota on my Honor 8. Granted it is in beta.

Just received build number KIW-L24C567B351 in the US, with the January 2017 security update. Marshmallow 6.0.1 still, though.
