I had heard that there was some camera update pushed for Moto G along with Kitkat update, which improved the processing algorithms so that the image processor would utilize the 5mp snapper to its fullest? is it true? has the camera improved? if yes, then in which aspects? and in which aspects does it still lags behind?

P.S I am asking all that cause I am really into selling my iPhone 4s and buy a Moto G,any help would be appreciated..

The camera was improved since being updated to kitkat, but I will tell you unbiased, the iPhone 4s kicks the pants off the moto g as far as the camera goes. In every aspect.

HOWEVER, I think the moto g wins in every other category, especially battery life. And if you are new to android, you will love it for all the things android can do. Hope this helps! 😀

Yep moto g will probably be my second smartphone experience :DDD and thank you so so so much for the unbiased opinion thank you,and yes i am really annoyed by the battery life on 4s with ios 7 it is horrendous,so yep really looking forward for a migration to android..and the only option in my budget is moto g...by the way can u tell me in depth about its battery life

The battery life is better than most phones on the market can easily get 2 days life with normal use. May only get 1 full day if heavy user. So not possible to be more precise as your use will differ from others .

2 days? I can barely get to the night.

I don't know if it's because of jelly bean but from 7am to 1pm, 3G all the time, some chatting, half hour of zombies vs plan, and I'm on 58% :(

And that is how current phones are supposed to be :DDD

My iphone drains itself to 20% in that period...so it might. Be a good buy for me

Two things. If you need a dual sim it is a no brainer, buy a motto g and that's it. Comparing an iphone 4s and a motto g is a question of money and os. Money, again, is a no brainer. And about os, well coming from an ipad I must say that I I'm very happy with Android.

Moto g battery is way better as they are saying. Two days without plugging your phone it is very nice. I've got a couple of friends with the 4s and ios7 are not very good news for that machine. Believe me, if you fancy Apple spend your money in a 5 something or forget it and buy android. And for the money moto g is the best thing you can buy.

I'm a happy user as you can see.

Moto g for me every time. I can only agree on battery life of well over 24 hours and with light use, standby and no games 48 hours is possible. This with Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS active. Love it, and inexpensive.

One of the users on this forum got 17.days,21.mins,and 21.sec and still had 1% battery left so it has a good stand by time. I'm still waiting to get my Verizon Moto G. I'm so tired of Jellybean 4.1.2 I'm ready for KitKat 4.4.2!!!! And hopefully Verizon 3g is as good as Virgin Mobile's Sprint's 3g I get about 2.00mb up and 1.30mb down on Sprint in El Dorado, Arkansas, but my mom is on Straight Talk which her phone operates on Verizon and She gets 0.05mb up and 0.10 down if she's lucky I mean come on Sprint's beating you!!!!
