Have been getting unsolicited audio only advertisments on my droid maxx running android 4.4.4

Tried all I know to stop these ads but they persist

Welcome to Android Central! When you hear the ad, tap the Recent Apps button and see if there's anything unusual running in the background (or to go Settings>Apps>Running Apps and look there).

You can always try uninstalling apps one by one until those ads go away.
