Hello I recently got a Samsung Galaxy s5 and have noticed the battery draining pretty fast. . It only lasts a couple of hours And when I check it says I only have an hour left. I have tried a soft reset and the phone is still under warranty since I got it 2 days ago. Please tell me if I have a bad battery thanks! I have closed all the apps that i wasn't using as well

Welcome to Android Central! We would need a little more info. Do this:

Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

Is the battery screen time supposed to very slowly go up? Every time i refresh the screen it goes up one second

Seems like everyone has probelms with Android System HIGH. That's the culprit.

It seems the problem has resolved itself, thanks for the welcoming and support and surely will return if i have any more questions :)
