Just as the title says I have 6.0.1 and this is a test build that is being tested to be pushed out to the masses soon. So if you were curious about anything or wanted to know how menus or things like edge panel have changed..ask away!

Mine question would be how well is it running on your phone any problems you have found.

So far it is running buttery smooth no issues it was an easy upgrade. Lot of subtle tweaks but overall it makes you fee like not much has changed but things just working better and better battery life.

I'm curious what changes they made to the edge. Can you add more contacts/apps?

Yes you can! The new menu is SO MUCH improved from the current. So here are a few things with the update.

1. You can add total of 10 Apps to the "Apps edge" window
2. You can add total of 10 People to the "People edge" window
3. You can add total of 10 Tasks to the "Tasks edge" window

There is also a customizable Edge panels option to pick from different layouts and streams. Also a download option so there will be a ton of user created and app created options from 3rd parties.

Nice. So, when do us normies get it?

What security update is included in it and can you tell which one it is addressed easily from the About Device screen?

They made it real hard ;) "Settings" into "About phone"
7 items down you see "Android security patch level" = Feburary 1, 2016.

Thanks! On mine its a lot more complicated as per the other thread I started. I went to Best Buy's Samsung desk to confirm. The AT&T S6 Edge+ is still on a security enhancement from October.

Anytime. They keep updating a bit more at a time I am getting nearly daily fixes an updates. So keep asking away but sorry I will not be posting any screens due to overall confidentiality agreement.

Hopefully this means Verizon is getting the update first!

T-Mobile has been in beta awhile now. So many dang versions of the same phone make the roll out take forever.

I for one would like the ability to receive txt/sms messages over BT in my car.. Why this is missing from Android/Edge+ is just friggin beyond me.. Apple and Windows phones have been doing this forever..

I do get those with my Edge+ and stone BT headsets like my Plantronics. In my car I get them too because of Android Auto, but that's neither here nor there. With my Jabra Pro, I don't get them, but then I don't get them with my Nexus 6 either.
