I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android 4.1.2. When I first got the phone a little over a year ago, my battery life was pretty normal. I would make it through an entire day on one charge unless I used it very heavily. I was fine with my battery at this point. But since then my battery life has slowly deteriorated to the point that I rarely make it more than 4-6 hours without having to recharge it. There was never one change though that made it drop drastically (e.g., software upgrade, new app, etc.). I also recently purchased two replacement batteries with a separate wall charger so I wouldn't have to keep it constantly attached to a charger. Now I just swap out a new battery three times a day. I find this to be absolutely ridiculous. I hardly use the phone at all when I'm working during the day (maybe a few short phone calls/texts and browsing the internet for at most an hour all day, usually less). I have read through numerous forums and guides about what could be causing this and nothing seems to work. My phone never (or extremely rarely) sleeps. I have better battery stats installed and deep sleep is hardly ever listed. I also have the same persistent offenders in terms of wakelocks but I do not know what is causing them. For kernel wakelocks, I always see power management service, and for partial wakelocks, I am always seeing Media Scanner Service. I also have used Wakelock Detector and frequently have Calendar Storage at the top of my list. There's another thing that sounds weird but always happens and leads me to believe that my phone is never sleeping. I have speakers hooked to my computer and they frequently give off a low buzz sound when my phone is within a few feet of them. It's not constant. But like before I get a text, they will buzz, and then the text will come in a couple seconds later. But this happens all the time, not just when I receive texts.
