I got the update screen but it said "couldn't download." I cleared the framework and can't get the OTA back. Now I'm worried that I won't be able to get it. Should I wait some more or just sideload?

Just did the frameworks trick and got the update right away. It caused me to miss some hangout notifications but just deleted hangouts latest update and then re-updated again right away. Works perfect now.

If you aren't familiar with frameworks trick, it goes as follows:

Settings--> apps--> all apps--> google frameworks

Then clear data and force close it.

Then check for updates.

Just got home from work to see that my N7 had already downloaded the update. Bay Area, CA.
Now will have 4.4 on my N5, Moto X and N7. Time to install that GEL APK

I keep reading Google Newsstand has replaces Play Magazines and Google Currents. Play Magazines has been replaced but Currents still exist. So is Currents staying around?

My wife's OG Nexus 7 just got the update. Daughter hasn't gotten it yet OG N7. Still waiting on mine N7 2013
