Having to replace charging port

So my batter won't charge and I'm going to replace the battery port hoping that fixes it. I can get it to charge by moving the cord some. I took it apart tonight and noticed something odd like a camera should of been on the back but isn't. Can someone explain that cause the video I'm watching it's not like that

What video are you watching? My Nexus 7 looks just like yours. Presumably they were originally going to include a rear camera, but decided not to most likely to make it cheaper.

The one in the video must be a later revision, but the differences look minor.
