Hey everyone,

So I'm currently trying to follow this guide ([Jailbreak][Root][Recovery] No You Verizon -VRAMC3 --update 10MAY13 - xda-developers) but I'm having some trouble.

I downloaded the program (on my MacBook Air), and plugged my phone in and hit "Do It". My phone boots into some downloading mode, and gets stuck there. The program on my computer prompts me to install Heimdall, which I do. It then tells me to unplug and plug my Note 2 back in, which I also do, but after that nothing happens.

I've tried multiple cables and my phone is in debugging mode.

Any ideas?

I used my MacBook Pro, but ran Casual in a Windows 7 VM since I have a functioning Odin config there. Check that you have the required Java and that it functions per Casual requirements. Check that Android File Transfer can see your Note 2 when it's connected via USB.

Hope the above helps if nothing else but to confirm connectivity. Just reread the XDA post and saw the part about reporting Mac issues if encountered. May not hurt to ask there.

I just downloaded the latest version of Java and still no dice. Android file transfer can see my device when it's plugged in.

Good news about AFT working. Have you rebooted your MacBook lately? Might help to clear out any transient Casual or Hiemdall states, as well as refresh the USB ports state. I'm reaching for ideas here.

Suggest posting to the XDA thread to see if anyone can help.

Yeah I tried rebooting. I'll see if they can help on XDA. Thanks
