Having trouble with hotspot on pixel 2

[Android Central Question]

So I bought a pixel 2 xl directly from google,. I'm with page plus cellular. On my old phone, S7, I had to download foxfi for a mobile hotspot. I can't seem to get it to work on the pixel 2. Any suggestions on what I can do? Page plus does not offer hotspot, if you call them they tell you to download something like foxfi....

The built in hotspot feature on my Pixel 2 XL works fine. I won't get into using FoxFi...

This. We really only help if your plan supports hotspot -- if it doesn't there is a reason it doesn't.
