Haxsync or FB Contact Sync?

I need to add pictures to my contacts and would like to use their facebook profile pictures, for those that use Facebook. They both get good reviews, but I'm not sure which to go with. All I want to do is set my contacts to display their FB profile picture. Not interested in any further integration and would like the smallest, most efficient possible. I've read good reviews for both apps, but have also seen comments that Haxsync is buggy and doesn't allow you to control the image size. Facebook Contact Sync, I've read, makes separate entries in the contacts directory and they have to be merged manually.

Am I wrong about this, and is there one clearly better than the other?

Thanks!

I like haxsync better. Just change the fuzziness setting to aggressive or you will be joining alot of contacts regardless

I actually prefer FB contact sync. It's free and does what it says plus I you can set it to only update via Wifi if you have limited mobile data.

I also went with FB Contact Sync, mostly because it's free. It turns out it does pretty well with automatically pairing FB contacts with the ones already on my phone.

Well, I tried both of them. It's kind of a draw in my opinion. One snag though - in the quick settings menu, there is a square in the upper left hand corner with my name that takes me to my own personal contact info. That square shows my Facebook picture, but when I change my profile picture and resync it doesn't change.

Also, is there a way to manually delete a picture?
