HBO Max resolution

Hey everyone, just got my Fold 3 a few days ago, it's a fun device, but I'm having issues. My daily is a Note 20 Ultra and I know the ppi is a bit more concentrated on that device. I'm mainly wondering why HBO Max looks horrible. On both screens, I'm getting really poor picture quality. I have excellent internet speeds so I don't think it's a connection issue. I use a few different streaming apps and the others seem to be much better. Can anyone else confirm this? I looked around Google and couldn't find anyone mentioning this specifically. Is your Carrier offer high res playback?

For WIFI, I had to make adjustment for my playback res. I have ATT, my play back (Cell) is 1080 and it looks the same as my wifi. I am also to stream my Plex at the original res no issue on Cellular.

I'm using WiFi. I'm not sure if there was any issue with my carrier because I use my Note and picture quality is amazing

Look at your plan and see if they cap the res to only SD, mine is 4K
