Question HD 350BT Headset

When I place a call, my headset picks up all background noise, including voice from people in a different room. All of that goes away as soon as the other party answers the call. Placing a voice call is the only time I have the issue.

Welcome to Android Central! Some headphones have a feature that allows the user to hear ambient sound around you while listening to your music (so that you don't miss someone calling your name, or something like that). Do these headphones have that feature, and if so, is it turned on?
