Has anyone noticed HD Voice calling working on T-Mobile with their Galaxy S6? I'm pretty sure it's not working for me.
I can tell the difference because in 2013 when my wife and I both had Nexus 5 on T-Mobile and when we spoke on the phone to each other, the sound quality in HD Voice was significantly better than when I spoke to someone else who didn't have a compatible phone. Even she mentioned it when we first got the Nexus 5, and she is not a tech geek. Plus, when she was connected via Bluetooth in her Nissan Altima the call quality would be pretty average, but when she turned off the car and switched to the handset, the sound quality went back to HD an the difference was shocking.
Now we both have the Galaxy S6 and call quality doesn't seem to be in HD ever.
Anyone know if disabling VoLTE affects HD Calling? I disabled that as part of a battery saving measure suggested in another post here. Any other setting?
