HD voice is not anyhwere near as clear as note 7

Just observing my HD voice on my Pixel. While it is good it is not anywhere near as crystal clear as the note 7. In fact when I get HD calls I have to check the screen to make sure they are in fact HD calls. Again, they sound fine but not as vibrant. Any setting I might have turned off by chance?

Anyone else notice this?

Maybe. I have tried over my bluetooth ear piece and talking direct on the phone. Either way not as vibrant.

I sound like a big baby I know. lol

That's interesting because I read somewhere else that another user thought the HD voice was the clearest they have every heard on the Pixel.

I really like the phone other than its not my note 7. lol Maybe they have not heard HD on a note 7 yet??? lol

Sounds like all my previous HD enabled phones via the T-Mobile network. Crisp and clear (and yes I was a previous Note 7 owner .)

Who do you use as your carrier? I have been on T-Mobile awhile and everyone I ask says I sound just the same as I always do -- clear and good volume. I spend a lot on the phone (1.5K+ mins a month) so I am sure I would have heard something by now.

I don't believe so. I talk to many so I doubt all of them do .

I have found the Pixel is not as clear or clean sounding as the blackberry Priv which has the best HD sound i have heard. People i have called on my network seem to say it sounds as solid on their end. So probably just a cheaper or less tuned earpiece on the Pix.
