HD voice?

Is there a way to be able to tell if I am in an HD phone call? I know the blackberry z10 has an icon that shows you are in an HD call.

Some of it will depend on what carrier you are on. I think only GSMA carriers can do HD calls, but as for icons, I do not know.

I'm on Tmobile and there is no indicator on the phone, but believe me, you will be able to tell without it, there is a huge difference in audio quality. It sounds like a Skype audio only call...
