Hdmi cord not working with phone after reset

I just recently reset my phone and now the HDMI cord wont work with my phone when i connect to my TV. It worked great before and now nothing. I was hoping to get some help, any ideas about why this is happening? I'm not tech savvy so any help would be great thanks

PS. I just updated my phone to kit kit I wonder if that has anything to do with it??
