I have searched the board and have not come across anything. When i plug my HDMI cable in, my evo locks up and will not respond even if i unplug the hdmi cable. Have to pull battery. Also, my sony xbr lcd will says there is no signal to it. Any suggestions?

The cord I got from the sprint store is just as spotty. I used it with my panasonic plasma and the sound would intermittently cut out and output to the phone which would inturn force the picture back to the phone with no way of getting it back on the t.v.

Even if I would pull the cord out and reinsert it no dice. And the FPS......OMG! I tried watching a 720p video and the stuttering was just unbearable. Not to mention the video wouldn't even start on time forcing me to miss the first few moments of it.

Really just a terrible experience.

Yeah, I haven't even tried the HDMI. I scratched that off the list as a marketing hype feature.

Bleh...I was hoping for more positive experiences :( Is it really that useless? Why did they even add the port then? I ordered a cable a few days ago, I'll post my experience when I get it...

from what i have read if you ordered yours from amzer the cable does not work. lots of negative feedback on the cable. not sure if its the cable or the phone. we will see what they say before leaving feedback.

I have the Sprint HDMI cable and it works great for me. I've watched several movies on my TV.

It's just curious that someone has a TV and a high-end mobile data smart phone, but doesn't use an HTPC or high-end multi-purpose stand-alone player ... my BD/DVD player will stream from the computer or read from a USB stick ...

Well I'm able to see YouTube videos, movies on my tv through my HDMI cable so mayb u guys have to check ur tv

Just got my HDMI cable in the mail, hooked it up and Megan Fox looks really good in T2. Framerate was down a little bit but still very watchable considering this is streaming from a phone. Also, the progress bar jumps forward and backward were almost instantaneous. Sound wasnt too bad, no compaints out of me.....:)

I wish I could figure out why it isn't working with my two, practically new, TV's at home but works on the same brand LCD TV at work that is at least three years older than mine.
