HDMI out after 3.1 update

I just tried the HDMI out after the 3.1 update and my Vizio HDTV does not recognize the signal. Then I tried it with my Dell 24" monitor it was recognized as 720p. Prior to the 3.1 update my Vizio would recognize it just fine as 720p even though it cropped a bit off of all four sides. Has anyone else noticed a difference after the 3.1 update?

Here are some more data points. HDMI works on my old 720p Vizio but crops all four sides. HDMI works on my Dell 24" monitor. On my newer 52", 1080p Vizio it no longer works; it will flash a 720p notice on the TV but then default to a blue screen and not show the Xoom.

I just got the android 3.2 update and my HDMI output now works with my newer 52" 1080p Vizio. It reports the signal as 720p as I would expect but all four sides are cropped, not just the lower menu bar.

Mine works but my screen is not croped on my 55" 3d Sony
