hdmi questions

I bought a cheap hdmi cable on ebay... the phone says it is connected to an hdmi cable but nothing ever shows up on my tv... the interface on the phone looks as if it is doing the correct thing... should i try another cable?

Are you trying to use specific apps? Only certain apps work through HDMI...

I was able to use the gallery to look at pictures/videos through HDMI. HDMI does not mirror your EVO.

i was trying to use the videos app to play video i took with my phone. the interface was black except for the controls (which is how it is supposed to look) just nothing on tv.

Hmm, maybe it is due to the cable.

I bought a cable from Sprint and was able to view photos/videos through the gallery with no problem.

I purchased one had to wiggle the connections to the TV itself...now it works great

I. Purchased the hdmi dock from Sprint today and works great watched two movies on my big screen tv

I tried to use the HDMI to watch the football game last night and had a blank screen. Was playing fine on my phone. We couldn't figure it out either.

So far only seems to work using video. I tried the football game also and had no luck
