Has anyone else noticed how hdr on blurs details in a photo? I noticed just recently and it surprised me.

HDR does take a series of pictures in different exposure levels and then mashes them up to create the HDR effect. This means that if you move your camera a tiny bit, the pictures will not exactly match, creating a 'blur' effect when overlapped. Also, the 'mashing' is done by software, which might tend to over-blurr those little details.

Right, I understand that. It just surprised me when I compared some photos side by side. I honestly think most of this is the software, because I can be as still as can be and get the same result. HDR auto is still great for 99 percent of photos, and full hdr has it's place for extreme contrast shots.
